ALOHA and Happy New Year!! How is everyone feeling towards the new year? We are pretty excited to welcome our new baby now 5 weeks old into our family! I’m beyond in love with him! We are constantly fighting over who can hold him next! haha.

Life is pretty busy right now! I think we all are in our own ways as that seems to be the way life goes so the strategy is to keep things simple. What’s interesting is that it’s usually the simplest things that end up making the biggest differences if done consistently.

Because I have little to no time at all and usually no hands free to do much anything these days, I am trying to find things that require little to no prep and clean up and don’t take up too much time! Smoothies are one of my favorite ways to get in nutrients. It only takes a few minutes to make, and I can drink with one hand. And to be honest, since Nalu’s been born I crave sugar and crap food, so if I don’t consciously fill up on healthy options I’m doomed! This past month has actually been a lot of bad health choices which I have been feeling. It’s been about a week now that I’ve started making health a priority and I already feel the difference in my digestion and my energy which is such a good reminder on why health needs to be priority. So, in the spirit of simple, here are three nutrient dense scrumptious simple smoothies that are easy to make and use very few ingredients using my all-time favorite WelleCo Super Elixir Greens (Each smoothie uses the same base ingredients to keep it simple).

Of course fresh is best, but when it comes to supplements The Super Elixir Greens has been my go to for the last couple years. It’s high quality and great tasting containing 45 premium wholefood ingredients that aid in hydration, help inflammation, contain pre and probiotics for immunity, Omega 3’s and more. You can add the powder straight to water or add it to a smoothie, simple as that! Here are three of my go to smoothies using the Elixir. Each one tastes like a dessert but uses only natural whole foods! To keep it simple and show how easy it is to make a completely new smoothie with just an added ingredient or two, each smoothie base is the same! Hope you love them! Each smoothie you can swap with what you like and make your own. You can make with any Elixir or add a plant protein too!
