SunBum more than a Sunscreen!

Any person or company who wants to go beyond themselves and use their platform and energies to promote a culture of good and health has my up most respect and that is exactly what Sunbum does time and time again!

Besides creating a natural sunscreen that my entire family uses on a daily basis, their desire to connect with people and spread friendly healthy vibes everywhere they go is truly inspiring.

This winter during the most epic surf contest of the year, Pipeline Masters on the North Shore of Oahu where the best surfers in the world come to compete, I had the opportunity to team up with Sunbum and spread some healthy vibes through my neighborhood for locals and tourists a like, handing out 600 Free smoothie bowls over the course of the contest! My family food truck, Seven Brothers was cool enough to let us revamp it into a fruity smoothie bowl pumping machine and get behind it helping make bowls, handing out tons of prices and just have a good time with everyone that passed by!

Surf contests are usually a place where energy drinks take over the beaches handing out free samples which is hardly appropriate, for especially kids, to get their hands on, and that was our motivation to provide an alternative, a healthier option for anyone who wanted one, while showing how easy and delicious health can be. All of the bowls were hydrating, plant based, using all natural ingredients, Non GMO, Vegan Style.

This year we pumped out 600 free bowls and next year Sunbum's goal is doubling that making a whooping 1200! How cool is that! Beach Formula / 3 In 1 Leave Spray

I honestly don't know how we lived without this product. My kids wont even let me come near their hair anymore unless I have "the spray" in my hand. It detangles, and conditions your hair while enhancing and restoring its natural body. I have never found a product that works as well as this one. We are in the ocean and sun on a daily basis which is pretty brutal on your hair and makes for some gnarly tangles. Beach Formula controls the frizz, prevents split ends, and my hair has never felt better. It also takes more than half the time to brush my hair because of how magically it takes away the tangles. SPF 30 Coconut Lip Balm

Here are a few more photos of the smoothie bowl fun we had together in my neighborhood on the North Shore of Oahu. It was incredible to meet so many wonderful people and hear how they are doing, some sharing health improvements from adding more plants into their diet and just wanted to chit chat about the waves and all sorts of stuff!
