My Favorite Tips -
My favorite blender is the Vitamix. The Blendtec is a great alternative.
For thick and creamy smoothie bowls, let your frozen fruit defrost a little bit. This allows you to use much less liquid resulting in a thick beautiful smoothie bowl base.
Freeze peeled ripe bananas and store in an airtight container.
Have smoothie supplies on hand! Frozen fruits, granola, rawnola, coconut shreds, fresh fruit and coconut water.
All recipes make enough for one smoothie bowl.
To make taste like dessert add a little organic almond creamer (Califia Farms is excellent) 1 teaspoon or tablespoon is enough.
These recipes all are very flexible with ratios of ingredients. Be creative and try different ingredients or liquids to see what you like best!

Blueberry Slush
Base
2 Cups Frozen Blueberries
1/2 + Cups Apple Sauce
1-2 Ripe Bananas
Blend Until Smooth
Toppings
Frozen Berries Defrosted Slightly
Sliced Banana
Coconut Shreds
Rawnola or Granola
The frozen berries make everything slushy and refreshing!
Pink Passion
Base
3 Frozen Bananas
1 Beet
2 Handfuls of Strawberries
1/4 + Cup Almond Mylk
Sweetener of Choice (I use coconut sugar or stevia)
Blend until smooth!
Choice of toppings.
Fantastic way to get beets in for even those who do not like beets (like my kiddies).
The Warrior Bowl
Base
2 Handfuls of Frozen Blueberries
2 Frozen Bananas
2 Acai Packets
Mango Nectar or Almond Mylk
Blend until smooth!
*I like to let my frozen fruit sit in the blender for a few minutes so it blends with less liquid (makes for a thicker consistency)
Toppings and Bottomings
Rawnola or Granola
As Much Chopped Fresh Fruit As You Like
Coconut Shreds
After Surf Smoothie Bowl
Base
1 Acai Packet
3 Handfuls of Frozen Mango (or any fruit- I also love blueberries)
2 Frozen Bananas
Just Enough Almond Mylk or Apple Juice to Blend
Toppings
Chopped Fruit (kiwi, banana, mango etc)
Rawnola or Granola
Coconut Shreds (toasted coconut is amazing)

2 peeled beets
2 frozen banana
coconut water or milk (enough to blend)
handful of frozen berries
Blend!
Sunshine Smoothie Bowl
2 Frozen bananas
2 handful frozen tropical blend - papaya, mango, papaya
1 papaya for the liquid
