Smoothie Tips -
My favorite blender is the Vitamix. The Blendtec is a great alternative.
All recipes make enough for two large glasses or can be used as a smoothie bowl base!
Use ripe bananas always for delicious and best digesting smoothies (look for spots and no green tip)
Freeze bananas without peel and chopped up in a sealed container
To make nicecream- add frozen ingredients (bananas and mangos) work best and let defrost a little before blending using as little liquid as possible.
A little organic almond creamer (Califia Farms is excellent) sometimes to make a smoothie taste more like a dessert.
Have supplies on hand!

*Kid Tips:
In the beginning, I would hide the color of the green smoothies by putting it in a cup that had a lid so my kids would drink them.
Start with just a few greens and work up to the full amount.
For some reason a lot of kids don’t trust the color green, but actually enjoy the flavor!
Any smoothie can be frozen into popsicles for the Keiki!
